We will host a talk show with KAKITA Maho and IKEDA Mizuki on the main stage starting at 14:30!
Both riders, who will join CYCLING DAY as ceremonial guest riders from the start to the Kitakyushu Connector Bridge, are originally from Fukuoka Prefecture.
Representing Japan in both track racing and road racing, they’ll share a more personal side of themselves as MC Yumi Kudo dives in with a direct interview.

KAKITA Maho and IKEDA Mizuki, who have represented Japan in cycling at the Olympic Games, will join as guest riders.
This is a rare opportunity to ride alongside two top athletes who compete on the world stage.
Enjoy the ride and interaction with them at the start area!

KAKITA Maho (Japan National Team – Track & Road Cycling)

Born in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, on December 14, 2004. She is currently a student at Waseda University and a member of Team Rakuten K-Dreams.
Excelling in both track and road cycling, she delivered outstanding performances at the 2024 Asian Track Championships, breaking the Japan and Asia record in the 4 km individual pursuit and winning the gold medal.
In 2024, she also achieved five titles at the Japanese Track Championships.
From 2025, she joined the Italian UCI Continental team Be Pink–Bongioanni, continuing to challenge herself in road racing on the world stage.

IKEDA Mizuki (Japan National Team – Track & Road Cycling)

orn in Ōnojō, Fukuoka Prefecture, on August 6, 2004. She is currently a student at Waseda University and a member of Team Rakuten K-Dreams.
She showed her talent early in high school and transitioned to cycling through a talent development program. With her flexible strength and calm tactical sense, she has won multiple domestic and international competitions and set records since her junior years.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she competed in the women’s team pursuit, finishing in 10th place. She is a young athlete with great potential for future success.
